Remote Access

remoteRemote access NMR (June 2, 2008)

Fulfilling our promise to the Canadian NMR community, we are pleased to announce that the 900 MHz NMR instrument is now accessible remotely from virtually anywhere in Canada. This exciting for many of our users option has become reality as a part of the SpectroGrid project developed and supported by the National Research Council Canada (more).

Pictured: SpectroGrid2 client is being used from the University of Alberta in Edmonton to remotely acquire spectra on the 900 MHz NMR instrument located in Ottawa, 2840 km apart (May 22, 2008).
